

Meet Samantha Villazaez
Sam is a latina artist, illustrator, and designer raised in San Antonio, Texas and completed her BFA in Illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. In 2018, she started freelancing, illustrating family portraits and designing several graphic design projects for the non profit organization, VIA CDC. In summer of 2021, she worked as an artist for the home department at Kohl’s and summer of 2022 was an apparel designer for Obioma Fashion. Her work involves playing with shape, color and style and likes to play around with any media that comes her way but mainly work with watercolor paints, markers and digital. Sam is dedicated to working with print illustrations, pattern making and pattern drafting.
She is currently based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
